Biography
Allan Kozinn is a music critic at the New York Times. He has degrees in music and journalism from Syracuse University, and is the author of several books, including ""The New York Times Essential Library - Classical Music" (NYT/Holt, 2004), "The Beatles" (Phaidon, 1995) and "Mischa Elman and the Romantic Style" (Harwood, 1989), and a co-author of "The Guitar: The History, The Players, The Music" (Quill, 1984). He also teaches courses in Music Criticism and Baroque Music Literature at NYU.
